Give us your job description in 25 words or less. Lead singer for the band, performing concerts and leading worship, traveling and touring, songwriting. Also helping our ministry reach students with the message of Christ.

Describe a typical workday. Thats the fun part of my job. There is no typical day. One day may be practicing/picking songs. Another day may be loading the trailer or working on fundraising. Some days are writing Bible Studies, some days are traveling. A lot of time on the phone and computer. It's a lot more work than most realize.

What led you to realize that you wanted to do this type of work? of course, God's leading, but it's what I enjoy. God really will give you the desires of your heart if you seek Him.

Did you have any heroes or mentors in your industry that you admired? I appreciate so much those early pioneers of Christian music, the Mylon Lefevres, Degarmo and Key, Petra.

What type of education or training was required to land your job? I went to College and studied Christian Education and started on a Masters. Most of my education has been hands on experience as a student pastor, worship pastor, and just learning the evolving world of technology. It's awesome to see how we can reach people with all the resources now available.

What do you love most about your job? Being with people and traveling.

What one part of your job do you wish you could hire someone else to do? Trying to book gigs!

What advice would you give to teenagers wanting to get into your field of work? Be prepared to work harder than you think. Also, realize 95% is behind the scenes in preparation. 5% is on the stage in the limelight.

How does your job allow you to use your God-given gifts? I get to connect with people and share the vision of what we are trying to do. My job allows me to talk with people and share my music. It's cool how God gives you the privilege to share your gifts with others.

Do you have any hobbies or off-hours pursuits that teenagers would find of interest? I love catching a good movie. Some of the new movies that are coming out that are remakes of 80s shows I love. I also love hanging out with my family, going to the beach or the mountains.
