Give us your job description in 25 words or less. My job is to utilize the creative gifts and energy God as so willingly given to proclaim the message of salvation in Christ Jesus.

Describe a typical workday. A typical workday begins with prayer, study of the Word of God, and writing, either creative or review of music, then moves on to ministry marketing, public relations, and branding. It finally concludes with spending time with my children and family obligations that must be met.

What led you to realize that you wanted to do this type of work? The Spirit of the Lord called me to witness to youth of this generation. Honestly, it was not a decision that I made. However, I am operating in obedience!

Did you have any heroes or mentors in your industry that you admired? Yes. Jesus Christ, the King of Kings. Apostle Paul for his konviction for the gospel; Martin Luther King, for his compassion and love toward his fellow man and the ability to love in the face of persecution, 116 Clique, Cross Movement, Beatmart, Syntax, and other who have blazed the trail for those in this 2nd generation of the urban gospel movement!

What type of education or training was required to land your job? Nothing formal, only passion for Christ, and understanding of His Word, and His anointing on your life!

What do you love most about your job? The ability and power to effect lasting change in the generations.

What one part of your job do you wish you could hire someone else to do? Maintain my social media sites, return phone calls, and arrange my schedule at times, and only to free me up to do more of what God has commissioned me to do.

What advice would you give to teenagers wanting to get into your field of work? Develop a heart of service and live holy! Understand the workings of the enemy, as he was created to prevent you from fulfilling the will of God on our lives!

How does your job allow you to use your God-given gifts? Writing music, creating music, and reviewing music allows me to effectively change the way both saved and unsaved people perceive the Kingdom and receive from the Lord’s throne. It is an AWESOME TASK!
