Give us your job description in 25 words or less. I am in fulltime ministry traveling and sharing the Love of Jesus Christ through singing original songs and guitar playing.

Describe a typical workday. Up early in the am and on the road most of the time so it’s lots of driving yet trying to practice every day, but sometimes it’s hard to find time.

What led you to realize that you wanted to do this type of work? God called me off of a 4th generation farm and after fighting with Him for two years, I surrendered to His call, and have been all over the US and into Africa.

Did you have any heroes or mentors in your industry that you admired? Not really, my hero is Christ, and He leads me.

What type of education or training was required to land your job? Hours and hours of practice and lessons.

What do you love most about your job? Meeting wonderful Christian people and sharing what God has given me. Traveling is also a love my wife and I have had for a long time.

What one part of your job do you wish you could hire someone else to do? The financial side of the ministry!

What advice would you give to teenagers wanting to get into your field of work? Stay true to what God is calling you to do and work very hard.

How does your job allow you to use your God-given gifts? By working for our self, (actually for God, really!), we have the flexibility to be available when ministry needs to take place.

Do you have any hobbies or off-hours pursuits that teenagers would find of interest? I love to fish and hunt. But, my hobby used to be the guitar, it is now my passion!
