The fourth book in the Manga Messiah series, Manga Melech, has been released in English. The 288-page graphic novel, written and illustrated by renowned manga-ka Ryo Azumi, was published in Japanese earlier this year. Manga Melech is "a Biblically accurate Manga retelling of Bible stories beginning with entry into the Promised Land through the rule of King David," according to Tyndale House Publishers, and it "combines cutting-edge authentic Japanese Manga style with fast-paced storytelling to deliver Biblical truths in a compelling package to an ever changing, post-modern culture." Manga Messengers, the fifth and final book in the series, is currently in production in Japan. Overall there are more than 2 million copies of the series in print, and the first book, Manga Messiah, is now available in 21 languages.
