Review: "Temple Run Brave" - iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch

It was not that long ago that my niece and sister-in-law showed me an app called Temple Run. Players go on a marathon running away from creatures trying to get them. Swipe up to jump, swipe down to slide, swipe left to go left, and swipe right to go right. Simple concept that turned into a craze. Disney Mobile has taken that concept and added Brave to provide us with Temple Run Brave.
One of the coolest additions in Temple Run Brave is being able to shoot targets with a bow and arrow. This adds a nice play mechanic. It helps increase the bonus bar much faster than collecting the coins. But do not neglect those coins because they are needed for certain in game goals. There are numerous different missions players will work on in Temple Run Brave.
Players are encouraged to avoid violence in Temple Run Brave. If you miss a jump you have to start over. The same goes for not sliding at the right time. Players can stumble on roots that are out across part of the path. The 3D effects look good in Temple Run Brave. My one complaint is things can get going really fast, and it can be difficult to enjoy the graphics.
The music in Temple Run Brave is pleasant, and it fits the theme of this franchise. I felt the frantic nature of trying to avoid the creature chasing me. Temple Run Brave can be very addicting. I found myself wanting to complete missions, and to improve my high score. Temple Run Brave can be played for a few minutes at a time or hours. It all depends on your personal self control.
The swiping action on the screen works most of the time. I did hit a few situations where I thought I swiped left and my character jumped. Since Temple Run Brave is a one mistake and your done, that could lead to frustration. I decided to test it again, and found this happens in rare instances. I may have tilted the iPod Touch and not realized I had done it.
The biggest lesson in Temple Run Brave is attention to detail. I learned to quickly identify obstacles and enact the appropriate response. Temple Run Brave can assist families in trouble shooting techniques. I also learned to keep running when giant monster animals are chasing me. I don't know about you, but I do not feel like being a meal for a wild animal.

Nice article, however you can enjoy the graphics, yes, the game goes faster and faster, but that can be stopped using basically 2 ways. Either when you are on the grass on top and shooting, during this you can on purpouse run to the left or right and hit the edge, which will slow you down totally, the bear will get close to you, but won´t catch you.
Second way is to activate the wings magic and count, when you will get close to 30 seconds limit, fall on purpouse. This will slow you down as well.
I love this game, became addicted to it. :) So far I still haven´t finished 2 tasks though - 10 million points (best was 9 086 436, but 10 mill. is definitelly possible soon) and second is hit 100 targets - this seems most difficult as there are not so many occasions to shoot and sometimes there are just 2 or 3 targets at the time.
Just to compare - what is your longest run? I´ve done 30 651 m.
Anyway... Get this game! :)
