"Join the Home Foundation as we make a stand for FREEDOM in the month of July!"

"Every year on July 4th we celebrate Independence Day commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence and our freedom from British rule. This day is marked by fireworks, parades, speeches, cookouts and concerts but do we really stop to think about what our freedom - our independence – really means?

In the world today there are approximately 27 million people enslaved. A large percentage of those individuals are sold into sexual slavery and 80% of those individuals are women and children. In the United States estimates range between 100,000 and 300,000 for victims of human trafficking even though hard numbers are hard to come by because many victims won’t come forward willingly believing that they or their families will be harmed.

In the U.S., though we know that the number of individuals sexually exploited is in the 100,000 range, we currently have less than 50 beds in facilities dedicated to these individuals and many of those are not in homes that focus on Christ as the cornerstone for healing. The Home Foundation is working with 6 groups nation-wide to start homes dedicated to a holistic approach to restoration.

When we think of freedom the obvious things come to mind: freedom of speech, religion, freedom of press. But what about our own personal freedoms—like the freedom to travel across state or international borders, the freedom to spend our money however we like- going to the movie, eating out, meeting a friend for coffee, buying a book or downloading a song? Now what if for 31 days you gave up some aspect of your freedom and you committed that amount to help us build restoration homes across the US? If we all linked up for freedom it could have a huge impact!

So here’s the deal: for 31 days during the month of July we are asking you to join us to celebrate freedom & be a part of freedom for those that are living in bondage. There are several ways you can participate:
